Frequently Asked Questions

March to September offers the best wildlife viewing. March-May provides excellent polar bear sightings on sea ice, while June-August features midnight sun and accessible bird colonies.

Svalbard has approximately 3,000 polar bears with sighting rates over 95% during our expeditions. However, wildlife viewing depends on weather, ice conditions, and animal behavior.

Our expedition vessel features comfortable twin cabins with private bathrooms, panoramic windows, and all necessary amenities. The ship is ice-strengthened and designed for Arctic conditions.

No special experience required. Our expedition team provides safety briefings and assistance. Basic mobility is needed to board zodiacs and walk on uneven Arctic terrain.
