Frequently Asked Questions

The best times are pre-monsoon (March-May) and post-monsoon (September-November). October-November offers the clearest mountain views, while March-May features blooming rhododendrons.

The trek is challenging but doesn't require technical climbing skills. Good physical fitness, mental determination, and proper acclimatization are key. Daily walking ranges from 5-8 hours.

Our itinerary includes proper acclimatization days. We monitor all trekkers for symptoms and have emergency evacuation procedures. Diamox medication can help prevent altitude sickness.

Teahouses provide basic but comfortable accommodation with twin beds, blankets, and shared bathrooms. Higher altitudes have more basic facilities. Hot showers are available for an extra fee.

Most teahouses offer charging facilities for a small fee. We recommend bringing a power bank and solar charger as backup. Charging becomes more expensive at higher altitudes.
