Arrival in Kathmandu

December 1, 2024

Arrive in Kathmandu, meet your guide, and prepare for the trek. Visit Thamel for last-minute gear shopping. Trek briefing and welcome dinner.

Kathmandu to Besisahar to Chame

December 2-3, 2024

Drive to Besisahar and begin trekking. Follow the Marsyangdi River through terraced fields and traditional villages to reach Chame, the district headquarters of Manang.

4-6

Chame to Manang

December 4-6, 2024

Trek through pine forests with stunning views of Annapurna II and IV. Reach Manang village, a traditional Tibetan settlement. Acclimatization day with optional hike to Gangapurna Lake.

Manang to Thorong Phedi

December 7-9, 2024

Continue through high-altitude desert landscape. Pass through Yak Kharka and reach Thorong Phedi, the base camp for crossing Thorong La Pass.

Thorong La Pass to Muktinath

Early morning start to cross the challenging Thorong La Pass (5,416m). Spectacular mountain views before descending to the sacred temple of Muktinath.

Muktinath to Pokhara

December 11-13, 2024

Descend through Jomsom and take a scenic flight to Pokhara. Relax by Phewa Lake and explore the lakeside town. Optional sunrise hike to Sarangkot.

Return to Kathmandu

December 14, 2024

Scenic drive back to Kathmandu. Celebration dinner and departure preparations. Transfer to airport for international flights.
